Back the Bill: Ban Conversion Therapy
Our 2024 manifesto included a commitment to end the horror of conversion practices, and we’re pleased that the Conversion Practices Bill is currently undergoing pre-legislative scrutiny, with the committee due to report back by Jan 2027. The evidence is clear that conversion practices are happening in this country and that they are harmful and damaging people.
As ever, groups opposed to LGBT+ rights are spreading misinformation in an attempt to block or water-down the proposals. We mustn’t let them succeed. Tell your MP just how important it is they support this vital legislation.
